I’m surprised the reddit post I followed doesn’t get in to any of this. I had already removed the mappings based on Thirran’s advice. I admit that it didn’t make much sense to have it, but think I was flailing at possible solutions. I’m new to Sonarr and Synology, and I’ve only got some basic Docker experience. Watched a couple of videos and read 15+ threads about people having the same problem (such as this one, with an identical issue it looks like). sonarr sends downloads to SAB just fine. SAB downloads them en then the issue starts. Sonarr shows a bar at the episode that download is at 100% but doesn't process them.

As sonarr works the same conceptually regardless of the OS you run it on, it’s worth reading the wiki on github of best practices so you get an understanding of it before getting into private indexers etc. Reddit can also be a good resource for both information on how to utilize it as well as invites for indexers etc. best of luck

4 Oct 2018 make sure you have the correct numeric categories 5030,5040 for sonarr 2000, 2010,2020,2030,2035,2040,2045,2050,2060 for radarr.

I am running Sonarr 3.0.3.904 on Ubuntu 20.04. It is installed from the apt repository. When I download a season pack using qBittorrent Sonarr successfully imports it but copies the files instead of hard linking to them.

--During the installation, you will be asked which user and group Sonarr must run as. It's important to choose these correctly to avoid --permission issues with your media files. We suggest you keep at least the group name identical between your download client(s) and Sonarr. apt install sonarr--when prompt I used Sonarr as user, and sekthree

At the moment v3 is considered an alpha, expect some issues, though in our testing there hasn’t been anything major.
